Speedyrails offers content delivery network hosting through Verizon Digital Media Services (VDMS). Our CDN gives you the benefits and flexibility of controlling your own content delivery network to offer high performance in delivering your web assets.

You can create a new EdgeCast CDN account through the Content Delivery and Security screen.

Create a CDN Account

Create Your First CDN Account

When you create your first Content Delivery Network account, your account starts a 14-day free trial to give you a sense of the features and flexibility of the CDN service. After the 14-day trial, your account receives an invoice for your next period of CDN usage.

To create your first CDN account with Verizon Digital Media Services:

1. From the Speedyrails Manager, click Services > EdgeCast CDN.
2. Click Start Your Trial for your first CDN account.
3. Read and accept the Terms of Service by clicking the check box.
4. Fill in your user details to Create an Admin User for the CDN.
5. Click Create admin user.
6. Click Finish account configuration.

Once you complete your account configuration, your CDN account will be ready and you can log in to your CDN Manager. After your 14-day free trial ends, your account becomes active and you will begin to receive invoices for CDN services.

Create Additional CDN accounts

Any secondary CDN accounts will not receive a 14-day trial and will activate immediately.

To add a new CDN account:

1. From the Speedyrails Manager, click Services > EdgeCast CDN.
2. Read and accept the Terms of Service by clicking the check box.
3. Fill in your user details to Create an Admin User for the CDN.
4. Click Create admin user.
5. Click Finish account configuration.
